In the spring of 2008 I will be joining an expedition to climb Everest via the classic North/North-East Ridge route in Tibet. Contrary to popular belief however, there are no easy routes on Everest. At 8,850m/29,035ft it remains an awesome mountain where climbers are pushed to the absolute limits of human capability. It is the ultimate challenge of physical and mental endurance.
